The County land base is comprised of over 660 base map tiles, each covering a 4000' by 6000' area, the perimeter of which is based on the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) grid tile layout (the WSSC grid tile layout is depicted on Alexandria Drafting Company (ADC) map books in red, along with grid designations on the page margins). Base maps are referenced to the Maryland State Plane Coordinate System NAD83/91 (HPGN) feet grid.
With the advent of the internet, GPS, and mobile devices, good hardcopy map books and atlases are hard to come by. ADC used to publish excellent county maps books, but they have since ceased to do so.
MDP has been using geographic information systems (GIS) to answer questions and formulate scenarios for close to 40 years. A GIS is simply a map. When you go to an Internet roadmap for directions, you are using a GIS. MDP is pleased to make some of our most valuable data available to the public as interactive GIS maps. Just like the online roadmap, you can search and address and learn about the surrounding area. The maps convey Information such as population change (Census 2010), how much residential development has occurred (residential growth) and the area where you vote (legislative districts), to name a few.
Fitting of DWI to the monoexponential ADC model can be achieved with either nonlinear fitting of the signal directly, as above, but can also be treated as a linear regression fitting problem (which is computationally faster) if the natural log of the signal intensities is used (see Note 17). For the minimal acquisition of only two b-values, there is no ambiguity and the initial estimate calculation shown in Subheading 3.2.2 gives the result.
Fitting of the more complex IVIM model introduces associated complexity on the analysis, in particular the initialization and algorithm used for fitting [13]. Notably, the fitting for IVIM is inherently nonlinear, and cannot be easily linearized for speed. While more advanced fitting routines become popular (see Subheading 3.3.6), the major obstacle to successful IVIM fitting is ultimately the appropriateness of the model to the quality of data available.
Having estimated D and f using the segmented method above, D* can be estimated by a second fitting process of the residuals after subtracting the calculated signal from the D component. Though not exactly equivalent, it is common to fix the D and f values and perform a least-squares fit only for D* using all the data (see Note 20). Interstate Compact Services Unit (ICS) coordinates parole transfers to and from Arizona. The Unit serves as the central location for interstate information and special investigation requests from other states on pardons, clemency investigations and pre-sentence reports. Unit staff acts as liaisons with various state and local criminal justice agencies when procedural problems arise. The unit administers the Interstate Agreement for Detainers for Inmates incarcerated elsewhere who are returned to Arizona for trial on untried criminal charges. The Interstate Compact is a formal agreement between member states that seeks to promote public safety by systemically controlling the interstate movement of certain adult offenders.
When you're driving on the Outer Banks, it soon becomes clear that your orientation on both the Bypass and the Beach Road is north to south (or vice versa). Same with N.C. Highway 12 that runs through Duck to Corolla. Same with U.S. Highway 64 and N.C. Highway 345 that run the length of Roanoke Island. Same with Highway 12 that connects us to Hatteras Island. Outer Banks maps make it obvious that navigating these roads is pretty simple. Put the beach to your east, then you'll always know the other coordinates. Of course, there are plenty of side roads that connect the Bypass to the Beach Road (btw, in technical terms that's Croatan Highway for the Bypass and Virginia Dare Trail for the Beach Road, but call them by their common names if you want to blend in) running from Kitty Hawk through Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. You'll soon learn that not all of these connectors go all the way through. Some are dead ends used only to get to specific houses. One hint of the ones that do connect Bypass to Beach Road is a stoplight. When you're on Roanoke Island, businesses are either located on the main road that runs through or in the waterfront area of Manteo. Duck's businesses are all found on and directly off of Highway 12, a.k.a. Duck Road, and you access all Corolla businesses off the highway too. On Hatteras Island, the vast majority of businesses are found paralleling Highway 12 there.

infoUSA is a provider of both business and consumer information and marketing lists. As with most modern companies, they have transitioned to selling their data products online. Their principal product is called the Sales Lead, a potential client contact list defined by industry, demographic, consumer expenditure indicators, and geography, among other characteristics. Geographical fields such as state and county boundaries, Metropolitan Statistical Areas, and postal ZIP Codes and Carrier Routes can be applied to select leads. InfoUSA found, however, that the methods implemented on their web commerce site for geography selection were inefficient and very inflexible.
